How it works

You like the idea but want to know more before you register, no problem, here's the site broken down into 3 easy steps...

Step 1 - Register your wedding reception for free

Simply click on the 'Register' link at the top of the page and fill in your reception details. You will then be sent a confirmation email containing your unique activation code, entering this makes your mixedreception live. You can then:

provide a personal welcome message for your guests
upload a photograph to give things that personal touch
start adding your own choice of songs
easily sign up to one of many online wedding gift services.

Step 2 - Invite your guests

Clicking on the 'Invite guests' link will create an email template which includes a specific URL (or page) for your guests to click on. This will take them directly to your mixedreception and once registered they will be able to:

request songs and/or agree with your choices
add any songs not already listed online

Step 3 - Sit back and relax

We're sure you've got another 1,001 things to organize but there's no need to worry about this because:

only guests you personally invite will have access to edit your mixedreception
you have the final say, so if there's something you really don't like you can remove it
as the happy day draws near you can simply email your final mixedreception to your chosen DJ.

Plus whilst you're guests are busy requesting their favourite songs it gives you the opportunity to look through our Directory and find all sorts of wedding suppliers from DJs to dress hire.
